We have to accept that during this situation the best way to save ourselves is just staying indoors.
For many of the working parents who are not habituated to work from home, now balancing their work with child care can become a major challenge.
Whether you just have one kid or multiple kids buzzing with the excitement of time off from school, it can even become an everyday challenge.

1. Prepare Self-first :
For many of us working from home constantly may be new and at the same time taking care of the kids can be stressful.
So, it’s equally important for us to make time for ourselves, prepare ourselves for this situation, plan and have a schedule.
2. Create a Schedule :
It’s important to create a schedule that includes time for your kids.
No matter how many tasks are on your to-do list, it is necessary we give them some time which makes us work from home peacefully.
By doing this, you’re giving them the attention they need which can even help them to play or engage themselves independently when you need to work.
It can be simple things like having food together.
3. Adjust schedules if required :
If the job we are in doesn’t require us to work at specific times, it would be good if we consider adjusting our schedule to work at their sleep times.
This will help us to build our work schedule around these times so that we can be more productive.
4. Set up a workspace :
As the present situation demands one, even if we don’t have a home office, it may be important for us to set up a defined work area at home.
It is equally important that we let our kids know that when we are at work, we are not disturbed.
It may be necessary for many of us to invest in a good internet service provider, noise-canceling headphones if we are too much into calls and more importantly an uninterrupted power supply
5. Try working in intervals if possible :
This method can be of great help for the moms working from home as the kids can be unpredictable
Proper time-management can help where you work uninterrupted until your baby needs you without getting distracted by your phone or social media.
6. Mix the activities so that kids don’t feel bored :
Almost all the kids like something new and different from routine. We may start with a puzzle or a toy rotation where they will be completely immersed.
Take some time to organize the things required so that they are excited.
Even encourage them with some activities that may not require our supervision or assistance.
7. Reserve some activities, they may come handy :
There may be situations where we may have some important meetings, in such situations reserving some activities that our kids will love to play or engage in, it will for sure come handy.
